God Is Always There

There are times sometimes that we feel we are alone.  We want to talk but nobody listens...  Always remember that God never fails... He is always there for us who seek Him with all our hearts.  God is always the same yesterday, today and forever...  And He is always there to listen...

Isaiah 40:8

The Lord is so good and so true, only God's words and actions are always permanent and always perfect.

Psalm 119:130

God's Word brings light, which is something we all need.  We do not always know or see what we need to do, and many times we do not recognize our own problems.  We need God's light to understand ourselves and to see how we need to change and how we can cooperate with God to make things better.  Reading God's Word is like looking in a mirror.  It enables us to see what needs to be cleaned up in our lives.

Mark 12:30

I love to remember all the time that God wants us to love him with all our hearts because we were created by him and he loves us so much.  He gave his son so that we can have everlasting life.  Jesus took the punishment of our sins.  He promised in 2Chronicles 7:14 , "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land".   This world is getting worst.  No peace at all and  we need the help of  God.  We need his strength and courage that we can live peacefully.  And he wants us to trust him with all our hearts, entrust to him everything we have and don't worry about anything (Luke 12:22).  He is always there for us because he promised also that "He won't leave us nor forsake us" (Hebrews 13:5).

Nahum 1:7

Goodness is one of God's many wonderful character traits.   God wants us to stay in faith and remain thankful when trouble comes.  Do not ever give up.   Ask for the strength (Philippians 4:13) and he will give it to us anytime.  God loves us unconditionally and looks for a heart that trusts and loves Him.

Proverbs 4:23

"We should be careful about our thoughts. We should love good things and hate evil things," commentary by Keith Simons.  We should learn how to think right and by doing this  we are always out of trouble.  Let us keep our hearts from all evil thougts and actions.

Hebrews 13:5

The true believer shall have the gracious presence of God with him, in life, at death, and for ever according to the commentary of Matthew Henry, which I believe.  God never changed and he will never change till the end of this earth, his faithfulness will remain forever.

Psalm 34:4

To be in tune with God is the best thing that will ever happen to a human kind, to be with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  It is very overwhelming but true.  We just have to know how to do it.  There would be peace that passeth understanding, joy that no one can explain, hope that will make us feel stronger when we are down.   Everytime I am in a situation where I couldn't handle it anymore, I run to His presence and be in tune with God.  The next thing I knew was, I was loved and feel secure.  The Lord answers if we will just try to seek his very presence.  He will protect us the way it should be.  No fears in the presence of God because of his amazing love...

Psalm 4:4

Self control is one of the hardest thing to do sometimes.  But if we really want to have a quiet and peaceful life then we should learn how to do this.  Proverbs 25:28 says, "Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control."    And Matthew Henry's bible commentary said, "The man who has no command over his anger, is easily robbed of peace."  The best thing that we can do is always search our hearts and pray, ask his guidance in all our decisions and this will be very rewarding!

Deuteronomy 13:4

One morning when I woke up I asked the Lord how can I make my relationship with him better. Then after that I fixed myself and ate my breakfast and read the word. While I was reading, my eyes focused on this verse so I stopped and looked at the passage. I looked at three different translations and a commentary.  There was one thing I noticed especially the amplified version, it says…”You shall walk after the Lord your God and [reverently] fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and cling to Him.” It struck me inside and made me think. He wanted me to do something and that is… to walk after him and not only once in a while, if I feel I like it, or if I need it.   And how? With fear, keeping and obeying his commands, serving and clinging on him.

God wanted his people to walk after him every minute, every second so that he can protect them from the works and tricks of the devil. God’s protection is powerful and mighty.  A promise that we can keep,  “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart(Psalm 91:4)

2 Peter 3:13

Last night we've got the chance to watch the movie "The Passion of the Christ" because it was good friday and it would be nice to remember how Christ died for Us.   Thank God for the hope that he is always giving us and one day soon we will be with him in heaven, no more tears, sadness...

Proverbs 3:5,6

Yesterday when I was sharing some thoughts with my mother-in-law, she gave me these verses that reminded me of God's faithfulness.   I always trust the Lord but there are times that I need to be reminded of something like this to be aware that the Lord is just here so close to me.  There were times that my decisions were not completely perfect unless I gave it to God and prayed for it.  If the decision was wrong everything became tough and that was/is the hard part of life, to have hard and tough situations.  Thank God that he is always there to help and protect us.  The only thing that  we  need to do is to trust him and not ourselves, acknowledge his wisdom and not our own and by doing that, the  Lord can move freely  in our lives and bless us tremendously the way it should be.

John 3:16

When I accepted Christ as my personal lord and saviour this was the verse he put in my heart that, up to this point, I treasure with all my heart...
